Catherine Stokes

Although a native North Carolinian, Catherine grew up in a military family and traveled extensively. She fell in love in with agriculture while attending college at the University of Georgia. She earned a bachelor’s degree in horticulture and a master’s degree in plant protection and pest management followed by additional graduate study in botany and environmental protection. Before joining the NCDA&CS Agronomic Services Division in May 1995 as an information and communications specialist, Catherine worked primarily in agricultural, environmental and computer software documentation development.
