In the Kitchen with Brian and Lisa: Sausage Balls

WRAL reporter Brian Shrader and our own Lisa Prince feature seasonal recipes in their Got to Be Good Cookin’ segment using ingredients grown and available right here in North Carolina.

Brian and Lisa continue a month of holiday appetizers this week with Sausage Balls. You can make these plain or spicy. Lisa likes her sausage balls to “talk to you a little bit,” so she starts with a base of hot sausage and adds Texas Pete and cayenne pepper. If you’re not as adventurous, you can use mild sausage instead of hot.
