Southern Farm Network logoNorth Carolina is the top producer of sweet potatoes in the country and sweet potatoes are a big part of many people’s Thanksgiving meals, so it’s only fitting that November is Sweet Potato Month in North Carolina.

North Carolina farmers grow nearly half the total U.S. production of sweet potatoes. The crop generated almost $176 million in cash receipts last year.
